A novel way of tracking nitrogen through organisms, soil, and water; a simplified quantum computer; and a “nanolab” that can observe a living cell from within are among the projects supported by the Schmidt Fund. Created by Eric Schmidt ’76 and his wife, Wendy, the fund supports the development of innovative new technologies that have the potential to enable significant scientific advances.
